The tug of war between Mac OS and Windows seems to be never-ending. But I can sense that the former has garnered more attention from users. Slowly and gradually, people are moving to Mac OS from Windows. Though they have to face some teething troubles during the first few weeks, they get along well with the interface and other functionalities. Most Mac OS X browsers will allow you to drag a website's favicon to your Desktop to create an icon that you can double click to open the site. However, this will open the link in the Default browser as specified Safari - Preferences - General - Default web browser regardless of which app created the desktop icon. Or, maybe you want to add more to the Notes menu. To do this, open the Share menu for the app in question and then click “More”. This will open the Extensions preferences. Click on “Share Menu” in the lefthand pane. Select unchecked items to add them to the Share menu, or deselect checked items to remove them. The Dock in Mac OS X is how most users launch their frequently used applications, but it can also be a great way to jump directly to your favorite websites. For example, I use Plex on my Mac, and even though there is a full-featured Plex app for OS X, I prefer the interface of the “ Plex Web ” experience, which is accessed via a browser.
